Wilder is an extremely intelligent individual with a good heart. The people who hate him must be insecure about their own lives and can't deal with the fact that a man like Wilder is able to make much more money than they are . I actually think it's a good form of deflection or projection. Their short comings turn into massive jealousy and they try to put others (And in this case, Deontay) down because they can't deal with the fact that they are inept and cannot make nearly as much cash as Mr.Wilder.
