Like I stated, if he lost an eye, that would've been on him. So who is the real fan here? Shouldn't that be you for having that much concern over Vitali Klitschko's body part? Since I could care less whether Vitali lost or damage his eye or not. The fact that he was willing to continue fighting and therefore, the fight should've continued is the point I was trying to make. There's no possible way you can deduce whether I'm a Vitali Klitschko fan or not, judging by my recent posts.
by mother of god wtf is this hellfire cretanology? I am hoping to god that you surely cut and pasted that from someone else's post/material rather than wrote that from your brain. If its a quote from soneone else, you would be advised to mark it so with a quotation mark, or people will think that you wrote such drivel. DO IT NOW, mate.
First of all it was on Vitali to defend himself from punches , since that didn't happen it was on him to adapt to the situation. He failed at both resulting in him being being stopped therefor Lewis walked away the better man. This wasn't a gladiatorial battle to the death or to crippling dismemberment. You take too much damage the fight is over. Thats all there is to it.
Moping about what exactly? I'm not even that big of a fan of either guy. So it doesn't matter to me as to who won or lost. As a neutral, I wanted to see a clearer and an indisputable result. Isn't that what you also want as a boxing fan?
It was also up to Vitali Klitschko to decide whether he wanted to continue fighting or not. Likewise, it was also up to Lennox Lewis to completely finish off Vitali Klitschko, until he couldn't continue anymore (and vice versa). This is boxing! Boxers get paid far more than military members who risk their lives everyday fighting for their countries. Deaths occur at a consistent basis to soldiers and other military members. Thus, when a boxer decides to step into the ring in big fights, he must decide himself whether he is willing to risk his life and health. If he does make that decision, then his decision must be respected. Thus, if he insists that he wants to continue, even if he appears to be physically very damaged, then he should be allowed to continue. If a boxer isn't willing to continue fighting, then they can willfully give up. But since top boxers are getting paid that much, then they shouldn't be protected as much as they do. Nonsensical stoppages and premature bout endings are what's ruining the sport. Until someone is indisputably finished off, we simply can't know who really was the better FIGHTER.
We saw it, TKO6 is clear. Did you not see the state of the man's face? The man was battered so badly he could not continue in said bout. TKO6 is just as clear as KO6, UD12, etc etc etc.
no tko6 was conclusive, retiring guy beating prime guy in less than hlaftime. little lad, have u edited that ludicrous post yet? do it soon
No, it isn't. Soldiers in the battlefield continue fighting with missing limbs and they get paid less than boxers. So if boxers are willing to continue fighting, even with the risk of losing an eye, then they should be allowed to by the referee. The referee prevented us from knowing who the better fighter really was!
They're in a professional bout, he was at risk of sustaining permanent damage. Vitali's role in any boxing fight is to prevent what happened, from happening. It was his fault for sustaining that much damage from LEGAL punches. Nobody else's fault by him, Lewis clearly won that fight, Lewis beat him up so badly even Vitali's mother couldn't recognize him at the end of that fight!
Was Vitali Klitschko incapacitated? No! Ergo, he wasn't 'beaten'. The referee gifted a victory to Lennox Lewis. Despite Vitali willing to continue.
his defence skill level was insufficient for 6 rounds, worse than frank brunos. i expect you wanted two eyes out
Lennox Lewis can't win until he indisputably finishes off Vitali Klitschko. That didn't happen. Ergo, he didn't prove he was the better fighter. Getting hit is part of boxing. No matter how damaged or how hurt Vitali Klitschko is. If he is willing to continue fighting. Then he simply should be allowed to continue. The referee shouldn't go against a boxer's will if he is still willing to continue. The referee should only stop the fight if one of the boxers is incapacitated and totally finished off, to the point where they can't continue any longer. Again, boxers get paid more than soldiers in the battle field and soldiers continue fighting with missing limbs. So a boxer, since they are getting paid as much as they do, must justify their earnings by fighting whilst in pain and whilst damaged.
