Luis Ortiz's Hand Injured Days Before Fight With Deontay Wilder

    There have been roumors circulating since last week that Ortiz has injured himself in camp and the video above taken from today's media workout appears to show his hand swollen badly.

    Seriously bad news.. Throughout the workout he wore golf gloves which raised questions, then he took the glove off from his left hand and kept his left hand in his pockets like he was trying to hide something.

    ugh that sucks.. I swear wilder lucks out everytime he signs to fight a top fighter lol..

    lmao that thing is swollen toe death and looks like it has a hemotoma in it.

    Oh well the 50 year old would have struggled with bum squad jibbing and jabbing around him for 12 rounds anyway.

    That looks disgusting. No wonder he was wearing golf gloves, because that thing looks like a golf ball. On his power hand too. That big left hand is his bread and butter how the hell is he even going to be able to throw it with any kind of power when it's that badly injured? I've had minor bruises on my hands before that you can't even see that hurt like hell whenever I hit the bag.

    I can’t tell **** from that video. If that is his bone sticking up that hand would be swollen 3x the size of the other hand. I had the exact injury and he wouldn’t be shadowboxing either. Especially if he’s had that for a few days. That is emergency surgery to fix that. I don’t know what it is. Who knows.

    The whole hand would be swollen if he broke it, not just a golf ball.

    So every broken hand is the same now? Could be fractured, bruised etc that hand ain't normal though

    How can a doctor legally sign off on an injury like that and let a boxer fight with such an impediment?

    This. Ortiz isn't going to let an injury get on the way of the fight. Ortiz has been chasing a title shot for years. This is pretty much his last shot.
