Btw, this is an incredible weekend for combat. Incredible.

The Brit card is incredibly competitive, the main even is perfect level for Brook on the comeback.

The American card is quality also. Huge fight at HW and two brilliant fights at LHW that the odds don't reflect.

Then UFC is gonna see the return of BJJ at the highest level. Yeah we've had Werdum and Jacare but they're coming to the end now. But FW we have a guaranteed cross over superstar. Ortega is one of Mma's genuine good guys and he's probably the most dangerous prospect out there. We've never seen a BJJ guy dangerous in the clinch but now we have one. He's gonna beat Edgar and Holloway. He'll reign for years and all of a sudden BJJ will be the premiere martial art again. For those who know anything about me they'll know I'm huge on BJJ. It's one of my passions in life and seeing it represented in a main event by a young up and coming guy is great for me. I haven't been this excited for an MMA fight since Werdum Vs Cain.

 

There's also the return of Badr Hari in Glory. Action packed Saturday!

 

I don't follow kickboxing at all tbh. My knowledge is as far as Cro, Hunt, Nelson (is that right, the guy who's relatively poor but has an ATG victory) and Reem.

 

Tbh, as an avid fan of UFC, I want this.

The thing that makes UFC great is it's monopoly, fighters have to fight who they're told and that means we have a plethora of fights featuring the best Vs the best. McG is in a rare position where he has the boxers mentality of fighting who gives him the biggest payday. What I don't wanna see is McG cherry picking his way though MMA. Let him have Floyd and then Paulie in boxing.

The only way I wanna see him really back in UFC is if he is facing the winner of Eagle Vs Fergy
