You believe he's not going drink nor eat from the weight-in to the fight? LOL

No right at the very moment he says he is trying to reach 250 pounds, he starts VADA testing, and then loses muscle every single fight until he weighs the same amount as his third professional fight, even though he was trying hard to gain 20 pounds.

He'll eat and drink, but he's not trying to rehydrate. There was no limit to make. This is his weight.

That said, I'm not reading much into the scale here. It's going to come down to who the better man is at this point in their respective careers, not Wilder being a bit lighter than usual. Ortiz is more technically polished and rounded, but the Alabama man may have an X factor over him.

It is not the question to compare Wilder to other boxers and try to say who is cheating and who not.

Fact is we are talking about the highest level of boxing and everyone who thinks the world elite has a clean career from A-Z is simply naive as ****.

I do not say that everyone is constantly on but let's be honest guys...without taking some stuff you won't be able to compete on that level for a few years.

Even football, handball, ice-hockey and other team sports are having those problems and some guys are thinking a one and one sports is clean? No way.

Except for in the video posted in the topic on this thread where he says "right now I'm at about 235" :bananaride

Well, people can change their minds.

Were he to suddenly stop taking PEDs we're more likely to see a rapid loss of weight. This looks more like a tactical thing, though I think he's going a bit overboard with how much he's losing.

He was gaining solid muscle from the very start of his career, going from 207 pounds to 228 3/4 pounds, it was very consistent. As soon as he starts VADA testing, he does not stay the same weight, he starts losing muscle every single fight going from 228 3/4 pounds back down to 214 pounds. You would have half a point if he stayed the exact same weight, but he did not he lost 14 3/4 pounds of solid muscle after VADA testing. Starting right at the very point he is trying to bulk up to 250 pounds.

Yes, because only a heavyweight genius would drain himself of weight and put it back on again after the weigh-in in a division with no weight limit. :bananaride

He can't change his mind? He's tactically building for speed. Much easier losing weight at that weight than any other weight. Not hard to figure out, brah. 214 is a good weight.

Nice try tho, but you have no point whatsoever

Yes, I understand the timing works out, no I don't think it has anything to do with vada. How much muscle to you expect a guy who debut at like 210 to put on? He'd already been putting on weight by the time Tha Voice started talking to him. I admit I've not rewatched the interview but I'm pretty sure I know it. They're talking about how he's been putting on weight.

Sure something happened, but I lean more towards he didn't like the results he got than something nefarious with vada mostly because vada isn't small and if they caused weight drops you'd see it elsewhere don't you think?

Is he drained? I wouldn't agree with that.
