It was a similar fight. Both Joshua and wilder were knocked down got up and won by ko. Fighting two guys the same age.

And so it begins should be fun next few days lol, first the excuses and conspiracy theories then after that it will be downplaying Ortiz as being to old despite him being 1 of the most avoided Heavyweights.

AJ is going to die if he steps in the ring with this beast. No wonder they keep ducking.

Good on Wilder for weathering the storm. It was a good fight the last rounds. I like watching him fight, honestly, it's fun. But today he showed more than ever that he's not at all a good boxer.

I thought I was the only one. That was a clear rabbit punch. Wilder was going to win anyway, but the ref should've called it.

Hopefully Wilder works on his footwork and defense, since if Joshua gets his weight and fight pace under control I could see him giving Wilder a hard time or even beating him.

    don't kid yourself.

Ortiz lost because of his age and size.

    Fury schools him.

Wilder can't box but his conditioning and power always makes him very dangerous.

I so want Fury to come back now. While I'm confident Joshua would ktfo Wilder, Fury would completely outbox him and make him cry.

To be fair he doesn't sound as punch drunk as AJ did after Wlad.

Like WK he walks away in defeat with maximum respect especially for getting up on his feet to beat that count.

But also like WK, he let the younger man off the hook. Lesson for every vet out there, take your ****ing chance when it comes.

Look, as a boxer Wilder is badly limited. But coming back after being down on the cards against the more skilled boxer like that, we all have to respect him. Ortiz wasn't too old or shot, he looked great, he had all the technical tools to win going away and stop Wilder. Wilder dug deep and came back like a real champ. And his right hand is really the most devastating weapon in boxing.

Ortiz lost because he got caught. Be a man! Give credit were credit is due!

Wilder is horrible, truly terrible but the power is legit.
And the talk about his chin and him easily folding should
end, He took some rough **** and didn't capitulate. I don't
care what the cards say, Ortiz beat his ass til the end and
credit to Wilder he took it and fired back harder.
