Max attempting to set up the all-Russian unification match. Fingers crossed we don't see a duck here...

"If a big money fight down the line" is the answer. Eh.

****ing idiots.... didn't even know who Mikhalkin was before this fight, now they're acting like they're authorities. If they can't see the more than ****ing obvious reasons Kovalev had a okay performance, then I don't what to tell them. maybe they DKSAB.

Krusher draws a blank as to whom to call out. He settles on Badou Jack (assuming he beats Stevenson).

Had a ten dollar, three way parlay on Direll being stopped, and Bivol and Kovalev winning by stoppage. Won 22 dollars. Woooo.

Naw not in this case. He should have ended this under 4 rnds. Mikhalkin is a tailor made tune up that should have made Kovalev looked better against than what he showcased.

Kovalev wants a third Ward fight (of course) if SOG was serious about coming back.

He didn't look good in the Chilemba fight either. He was in a cagey opponent in a more or less insignificant fight. I think he'd show up in better form for those fights win or lose.

Ward will bag him again IMO as Ward is just a different dirty animal and that damn good inside the ring

"Enough of this caliber opponent. That is why Bivol was paired with him tonight. We ready to see a unified light heavyweight champion. :D"

RJJ...believe me, son, I will come down to Pensacola and whoop your old ass. Don't test me now.

Interestingly, the last southpaw Kovalev faced before tonight (Caparello) is taking on fellow Kovalev victim Chilemba next. That's an intriguing (but sure to be ugly as hell) match-up, actually..

Hold on. I need to sit down a moment. Somebody get me some water. Somebody grab a giant palm leaf or something; I need to be fanned.

Roy Jones ****ing Junior was just harping on somebody for dragging ass when it came to unifying the light heavyweight division?!??!?!?!
