Been saying it for years. No human in the existence of mankind can take a flush right hand from Wilder. It simply wouldn't end well. =[

The cherry picked (not necessary bad) opposition that suits his combined advantages best.

Joshua is much stronger, hell Wilder refused to fight Vlad, Whyte, and so many others. I think Andy Ruiz would beat Wilder. Wilder's chin almost lost him the fight.......................

David Tua, Wladimir Klitschko, Prime Tyson all hit harder than Wilder.

    The hype is getting comical

That would be a good fight but I'd pick Wilder to knock out Ruiz.

If you think Luis Ortiz was a cherry picked match up for Deontay Wilder, you need to stop matchmaking Teddy Brenner

Well, sons, I tried to explain this once but it didn't seem like any were following.

Energy, Force, and Power are not, in science, interchangeable words. So first let's establish something. What most of you mean when you say power is energy. Energy is the ability to do work. Power is the rate of doing work or expending energy. Force is a body acting on another.

So, when people say "Pushing jab but without a lot of force" they're an idiot. When they say " It's got snap but lacks power" also a dumb-dumb. I know you hear that sort of nonsense a lot from the boxing industry and really respected players. It doesn't mean the colloquial meaning was off, just boxing knows dick about actual physics.

That said, you almost never hear boxing use the term Energy but really they should. Old School fighters, KO over TKO boxers are high energy punchers. They put raw energy into their punches and that alone allows the work to be adaptable to any setting causing more work to get to where it needs to be in the opponent to hurt or end them.

Power is explosive and can be adapted to. Force pushes and can be adapted to. Energy is adaptation. Energy can be stored, is scalar, and is conserved meaning Energy is not lost only transferred. A small amount of energy moving quickly produces a high amount of Power.

If the powerline is pure in the puncher than the Newton's Third Law reaction force has nowhere to go but into the opponent. Causing them to eat not just the energy, power, and force of the punch itself but the equal yet opposite reaction as well. Rocco hit for 925ft-lbs which means Marciano's bone structure was in such a placement as to allow the transfer of that energy into the pendulum bounce off the object into Rock fist then bounce again into the object all at the moment of impact. In my opinion a man's bones being able to handle 925 is just as impressive as throwing it.

So what I mean to say is if you're an energetic puncher there is no just taking the punch because it can become whatever you need it to be over time. If you're forceful then you require the opponent's body to be in such a position as to allow force alone to harm it. If you're powerful you're in the same boat as force, explosions can be redirected and you need a clean shot. Energy, neither high nor low but rather controlled is the key because when you need force Energy has it, when you need Power Energy brings it, and when you need to store Energy stores it. It's all about raw Energy and raw Energy control. Also, it's the only way to explain glancing directed power. There's no ****in' chance in hell a power puncher plans on landing a glancing. The adaptability of the punch at impact, what else is it called?

To that end is Wilder the master of Energy? Maybe, I got the same sense when I looked for a reason behind him having KOs over TKO.

edit- should have added. Work is force times it's displacement.
