stylewise I would pick Moorer. I don't think Williams could take Moorer's power at light heavyweight.
Good fight. A nice bout for us fans. Williams sure does get hit & there's no reason to think the southpaw with 2 accurate hands is not going to land fairly easily. It'd be interesting to see Williams--who would exchange--land a right hand right down the pipe in the middle of one of MM's combinations. So it likely is a lose the battles and win the war type fight for the Prince. But he is durable and Moorer did all his damage the first half of fights as a lh. It'd be interesting to see him in with a guy that does not fold up and all of a sudden the bout is in the 10th round. But I just don't think I like the defensive abilities of Williams to last until the 10th.
WAR Williams by mid to late rounds tko Moorer's defense wasn't any better than that of William's. I think Williams was busier and he hit pretty hard himself. I can see both guys going down in this one.
Never saw the best of Moorer at LHW because of weight problems. Moorer though showed at HW he could dig deep when threatened. Moorer in a war continues his ko streak at LHW. Moorer ko in 9 rds.
I can to ..in fact I see it as a light heavyweight version of moorer v Cooper , in that both men take it in turn's in dropping the other . By the fifth round both been hurt and dropped. Who ever s got the strength and stamina left by the 7 th wins it by Savage ko .
