He's more interested in preserving his undefeated as HW Champ retirement achievement.

 

Sure, I think that would be great for the division (if he actually gets back in shape).

 

He needs a final chapter. I'm not overly comfortable with how many people call him the true champion etc after one very good peformance.

Hope he comes back to clean up or get cleaned out. Either way it'd be good to see him return. If he's mentally in a good place and doesn't abuse his body he's an exciting guy to have in the mix.

Fury beat the man who beat the man, he beat Wlad after many others tried and failed, so yes he on that night proved he was The Champ.

I want to see the best fight the best, so if Fury gets fit and focused (A big if) i want to see him fight again, i have zero interest in all his youtube/twitter crap, calling out all and sundry, making verbal claims etc, talk is cheap as they say, save the jive talk for when you are selling a fight against a named opponent you are training for.

A 29 yr old Fury would still have time to make an impact again if he's in shape physically and mentally, it is no mean feat to be able to nullify/negate Wlad in a fight, Fury did it so love him or loathe him even if he does not return to the ring, he would go down in annals of boxing history as a retired undefeated World Heavyweight Champion, not a bad mantle to hold, despite the circumstances of it occuring.

 

The most skilled heavyweight on the planet with the biggest personality. What sort of an idiot wouldn't want him back?

 

I think the OP would be a bit embarassed to see what a fit Tyson Fury would do with the Deontay Wilder that more than likely the OP thinks is fantastic. Tyson Fury has way too much for Deontay Wilder.
Unless of course you are doubting that he will be the same as he once was, in which case you have a point. Of course he might not be. In answer to the question though, do I want to see the only reason for us actually having an increasingly exciting division at heavyweight, make his return? I'm a boxing fan. So of course I do.

 

He has personality and he's a big man that has good movement. That alone can keep him at the top of the division for years I think.

 

He's probably gonna suck. How many guys have ballooned to over 300 pounds, developed a drug problem, and taken two or three years off and come back successfully? His company is Buster Douglas, Gerry Cooney, Bowe and various other failures.
