Yep. The reality is Joshua-Wilder is THE fight out there in the heavyweight ranks and as fight fans we should be demanding it.

I agree, and Joshua should be focussing his entire attention at Parker until that is done.

And then proceeded to price himself out. There's nothing to suggest Wilder genuinely wants this fight more than Joshua does.

Absolute nonsense, I'm not even a big Eddie Hearn fan, but he's not lying in regards what he says about this fight. At the end of the day, it's a business, and the way in which the most money was always going to be made was take the second biggest fight first (Parker) and then move on to the biggest against Wilder, with the addition of it being for unification of the division to draw in that extra 10% of casuals, there is no ducking, I think AJ would have happily fought either of the two, it just makes sense to do it this way. Wilder is admittedly telling us that it is true that he wants 50/50, can anyone honestly say that he's worth it? The difference in their worldwide profiles would probably realistically merit at least 70/30 Joshua. I know we're all just fans, and want to see the damn fight, but Eddie Hearn is a business man. And businessmen don't give money away for nothing, when it isn't owed/earned.

We'll get it, the question is when. They're obviously in the building it up stages right now.

It doesn't require any more building.

It does if you want to make more money, which Hearn probably does.

That is the only scenario that will allow Wilder to KTFO Joshua, team Wilder should make a fair deal with Hearn to make things financially rewarding for him. Hearn mindset is strategic as it comes, he will not throw Joshua under the bus for one payday, in order for Hearn to sacrifice Joshua he wants to be part of team Deontay Wilder

There's a point where a fight is ripe and that point has been reached for Joshua-Wilder.

After Joshua-Parker is done of course.

British fans are unique in having a very strong Nationalistic sentiment, so if Hearn keeps up his mind games on British peasantry, he will be able to sell Joshua ten more fights, without facing Wilder.

Hearn wants to expand to the USA, he can't do as he wishes there, but he still got the UK, he wants to be part of the American scene starting with Deontay Wilder, in return for Anthony Joshua. Great Promoter, Anthony joshua is very lucky to have British fans and a Great promoter like Hearn.

Wilder had to walk through fire to get the respect of American peasntry, in the UK Wilder will be hated unless he works with Hearn to help improve his image in the UK, a cup of tea and PR that suites the tastes of British Peasants...

    You're making no sense.

Parker is the only one who was complaining about the split he was offered....he was the guy using the contracts as an excuse.

You really have no idea do you?

British fans have little nationalistic sentiment compared to the US/Mexico.

When Amir Khan left to go to the US he was hated, when Degale went over the pond his fanbase deserted him.

The British fans get behind their fighters who are willing to take big fights, e.g. Hatton, Joshua, even someone like Brook.

Wilder had no respect of UK fans because he hadn't fought anyone, he now has 1 opponent on his resume who is, maybe, top 10 in the division, so he may now finally establish a fan base.

I don't think AJ is ducking him at all. I do think Hearn is trying to squeeze every last penny out of AJ as possible though. I still think AJ handles Wilder but it's a more dangerous fight for him than I could have anticipated a couple of years ago
