How many kos did Archie Moore have?
How many kos did Joe Louis and Ezzard Charles have? And they didn't stop Marciano .
Let's see: name me 1 opponent in Wilders last TEN fights who years from now people will remember as a really good fighter/close to greatness.
I'll start for you and I'll let you mame the fat forty year old he just fought. You got nine to go.

Look I love marciano, but come on now, rocky did amazing against the skillful, graceful boxers of his era, but this would be the first time he fought somebody that could beat him in a toe to toe slugfest. If Walcott and Moore could floor him wilder would tear his head off.

Wilder has shown a very effective jab in other fights.

And who was it that Wilder beat for the title that he struggled with at times?

None of them were close to as good as Luis Ortiz.

Tbh you answered your own question there. You asked for one name then gave one name.

Probably a good idea not to start talking about 40 years old fighters when making a case for Marciano.

He proved he has a decent chin by taking Ortiz' shots.

Marciano already knocked out a 213lb legend named Joe Louis.
Who had been tearing through tons of top level fighters in a short amount of time.

    This is a serious matchup
Marciano would put Deontay in serious danger with his head movement, inside game, power, durability, and heart.
It would be an incredible match. One for all the ages.

"Marciano knocked out a guy called Joe Louis",John Roxborough Louis' manager.
Louis was hardly tearing through anyone at that stage of his career.
If Marciano can get inside Wilders albatross reach he can have success, Wilder isn't any good inside. However seeing how badly an old Louis marked up Marciano with his jab,you have to believe Rocky is going to be showing significant wear and tear in his endeavours to do so.

Rocky would have to do one of his accidental shots after the bell. He would be apologetic after but that is his best hope here.

And how old was Ortiz- I'll tell you he isn't in his thirties.
