Is there any news on him, had assumed a while back he would feature on the Frampton card. Have not read anything about Sho Kimura since earlier in the year.
People just aren't that interested in seeing such tiny men fight. He's got a following in Ireland but outside of that he will struggle.
Barnes has nothing really to offer No real marketability other than the "local Irish kid come good" and there's loads of them. Not a big puncher not a poster boy not a great deal of like ability imo reasonably average and running out of time
Was always impressed with him in the amateurs, then read comments online saying he was looking poor as a pro, but saw his last fight and thought he looked good, so you should always go by your own eyes.
You are right. He DID look poor in pretty much all his pro fights up until the last one. Then ....much to my surprise....he came Good in his last fight. I had pretty much written him off as being hopeless, but now I'm not so sure.
