It's not the same situation. Tyson Fury never faced a ban.

In athletics they retrospectively test blood and urinal samples when new testing technology is used. If an athletes sample from 2 years ago today pops positive they don't say "you now have a 2 year retrospective ban". They ban them from that point on as a retrospective ban would be completely pointless.

 

Very true if its not like his doesn't know there are risk when you eat Mexican meat, pretty sure a man with his resources should be able to import meat with a minimum of fuss..

That because the are retesting for stuff they couldn't at the time the test was done.. The ban still starts from when the failure was noticed..

Fury's test has come back with something in it so they ban starts for the result not the test..
