What surprises me here is that Alvarez has always had trouble getting down in weight, he actually has a very good reason to start using an illegal thermogenic like Clenbuterol.

Me too, but then again it's Mexico. I don't live there and I really have no idea what Canelo's daily routine is like and how he eats. It would be helpful to know if he was traveling, eating at restaurants or if he was eating at home via a personal chef every day.

Fair point, but then again that would be less of a problem now at Middleweight than it was when he had to make 154/155.

Most of these cases are trace amounts found within an athletes system. Erik had trace amounts both times which is normal as it take time for clen to run its course through the system.

The answer to that question about how “fans” look at Erik now that he is retired is a tri-pronged answer....his loyal fans just overlook his dirty test and suspension. The general population and casual fans simply know him as an ATG and hardcore boxing fans respect him but bring up that he’s been popped for testing dirty....much in the same way Roy Jones, Shane Mosely and James Toney are remembered.

The contaminated meat excuse is now a standard response by ALL athletes caught with this illegal substance in their system. It’s met with a lot of reservations because it’s a highly used PED and this built in “out” by claiming contaminated meat is always on the table. It’s hard to prove or disprove so we never ever get full resolution in these situations.

Yes we have established that, I said it, I made a point about it. What's your point?

The truth only seems to be hurting you, the truth is Canelo tested positive for a banned substance.

You are embarrassing yourself, you can't give a simple yes to a simple question..

DID CANELO TEST POSITIVE FOR A BANNED SUBSTANCE?

It's not a trick question, it's a fact, it's all over the news.

GBP issued a statement saying he did, WBC have issued a statement saying he did but you cant answer me.

Who is really hurting here? :risas3:

No idea but I do know a hair test will prove him clean or guilty. The hair test can show if this was an isolated incident or a 6 months usage.

You're squirming a lot yourself by how you and many others have reacted to this, celebrating this news like you've won the lottery and screaming drug cheat to make you feel better about yourself without knowing anything.

Dude, why are you asking everyone that question. Yes he did. According to the Lab director the values found are consistent with contaminated meat. Should Canelo be fined or banned? That's up to the commission and or sanctioning organizations.
