Boxing is the trend on youtube in 2018.. KSI (youtuber) fought Weller (Another youtuber) in an actual decent match and now he is going to box Logan Paul (Another famous youtuber). All these youtube personalities are calling each other to box. Fouseytube and Vitalyz are supposedly fighting too. These guys have millions of subscribers and reach huge audiences. I wonder if any legit promoters will try to get in on this.
The problem is that boxing is a slow-burning sport where fighters don't fight often enough and fighters develop slowly. That lends itself much more to daily newsprint than social media, and the modern attention span deficit - so a lot of youtube vids are prone to stupid exaggeration and ridiculous titles like 'Eubank goes in RAWWWW on whomever'' I'd say it's bad for the sport and attracts the kind of idiots who post on this very site in garish primary colours. Every time your favourite boxer loses "it's a fix!", and any top boxer is either a no-skill PED addict or, verily, the son of God himself. Boxing doesn't need these kind of ******s.
