Wladimir yes. Vitali was heavy handed but didn’t have that concussive power that his brother had.

Sirenko after he develops more yes I think he will be hitting harder than Wilder.

Joshua, Wilder and Breazeale all have over 80 % k.o record with about or over 20 fights. They are consistent power punchers.

All these guys are very to extremely hard punchers. I like Joshua as number one....he has the heaviest hands and speed combined. He's stopped the more proven chins thus far.


Wilder has very sharp speedy punches at times and could stun anyone , but past guys like a Lewis, Ruddock , Morrison, Klitchko and Tyson had hurt better opposition.

If Ortiz stays around a bit we can gauge Wilders power a bit more depending who he fights. The notion Shavers is vastly harder punching isn't proven either, I don't see it. I think all the guys I listed hit harder or equally as hard in some cases.

 

Wilder might be the hardest puncher p4p out of the bunch. But that doesn't make him the hardest puncher.

The thing with Wilder is that he throws his punches with full commitment as soon as he think he's gonna land. It's also a risky move that could backfire on him (as Ortiz showed)

Wilder swings with an elastic recoil that peaks just at the impact zone. He swings with a snap at the end. Like a golf swing.

If we instead look at his straight right hand, it is also powerful, but not as powerful by a long way. Joshua's straight right is absolutely more powerful than that. And that is what I base my argument on.

Also: I feel that I've underrated Wilder's straight right a bit. It's better than I first thought. But It's not that lights out punch that his wild swing is. Especially since he aims those shots on the cerebellum - balance center of the brain. That's the true underrated aspect of Wilder's power. His timing, speed, height and reach that allows him to commit 100 percent into those shots - because against short and slow opposition he can get away with it.

Just look at the cautiousness with that punch against Ortiz. Because Ortiz made him know early that it might backfire on him.

Against AJ it would be even harder for Wilder to get away with it, which would make him even more cautious because of the anti Height, reach, speed and timing barrier of AJ.

In this case, it will be the classic 1-2 vs 1-2 scenario, and AJ is much better at it.

Good list. Wilder is a natural talent, like those guys.

 

Wilder has whip crack power. He has skull cracking power. He is not someone you would want to fight on the streets. He is One Punch Man.

 

People getting carried away after one big win he was favored in anyway.

 

The man in my avy hit just as hard, if not harder, and was a much more fundamentally sound fighter. Not to mention the fact that his opposition was head and shoulders above Wilder's, meaning his power was actually proven at a much higher level.

It is also arguable that Joe Louis, Ernie Shavers, Sonny Liston, Wlad K., Mike Tyson, etc. all had comparable if not greater power. So, while Wilder probably hits hardest of the heavies today, he is not the hardest hitting HW of all time.

 

YOu cant possibly know this for certain. But let me add i nor anyone else can counter it and say youre wrong or give a better example. This is an absolute unknowable. Point is the dude can crack. That much we know for sure.
