Look jackass, I don't give a **** about your goddamn spin doctor propagandistic race war driven angle, take that stupid **** elsewhere. If you'd have asked me 3 years ago, I'd have picked Ortiz, 2 years ago, I'd have picked Ortiz, 1 year ago, I'd have picked Ortiz. I DO NOT CARE for one second about the fact that Vitali KO'd Solis in 1, and Wilder struggled mightily against Ortiz, and you think by burying Ortiz, and blowing smoke up Solis' ass it makes Vitali look good, and Wilder look bad, grow up and enjoy the ****ing sport, and stop thinking so much, it obviously doesn't suit you.

If Khan faced Canelo in the amateurs with headgear in 3 rounders he'd shut Canelo out 100 out of 100 times.

If Khan faced Canelo another 99 times without headgear in 12 rounders, he'd get KTFO 99 more times.

Let me put it in Laymen's terms for you.

Korobov beat Kovalev and Usyk, so I guess you'd pick him to beat them both now? WELL???????

Sillakh beat Beterbievx2, so of course you'd pick Sillakh to school Artur right?

Gvozdyk lost to Mekhontsev, so I guess that means Egor beats The Nail now right?

Get the **** outta here with this bull****.

That's because Luis Ortiz turned pro too late and was too busy fighting bums / journeymen for the first four years. When the Klitschkos were still on top. If Luis Ortiz really wanted his shot against the Klitschkos, he could've turned pro earlier and earned his shot like the rest. He had the chance to do that but refused.

    lol..wtf did i just read.

When exactly did Ortiz get an opportunity to fight Vitali / Wlad and turn it down? You said the chance was there and he refused. Accept you either told a lie or you were misinformed.

Ortiz is a Cuban defector and they don't just decide they can move to the States and turn pro whenever they feel like it. From what i heard he spent time in captivity while making his way Stateside on foot , so no , he couldn't have turned pro anytime he wanted. And even if he could , thats still a silly comment to make.
Its like saying GGG refused to fight Pavlik because he stayed amateur for so long. :nut::facepalm:

Ortiz didn't take a dive like Solis did so props to him for that. They both showed up out of shape in the ring though.

Solis doesn't have 1 single win over a top 10 Heavy. Where as, Ortiz has a dominant win over a top 10 Heavy and toyed with the guy who beat Solis twice.

Half of the people in this thread don't know that Solis ripped his knee against Vitali.

I'm gonna say that Solis might've been as good or better than Ortiz for two minutes and change against Vitali until his knee ripped. He was much worse for the rest of his career, before and after.

Hahahahaha! :D Wooooweee!! Talk about not being suited for something! Your going to bust a spring getting worked up like that!!

Look you smarmy ****ing wannabe authoritarian D-bag. I WOULDN’T have asked you 3 years ago on who would have won between Ortiz and Solis. I wouldn’t have asked you two years ago. And I wouldn’t have asked your WEIRD sketchy ass 1 year ago. You know why? Because I don’t give a **** OR a **** about your opinion on the sport in any way ;) I thought that’s been pretty obvious! You see me hardly EVER quoting you or liking your posts?? Exactly.

The “Where’s your evidence” thing was just me hitting you with a dose of your own medicine and you obviously didn’t like the taste.

And I didn’t even bring up the race thing here in the main and wasn’t even going to again. So YOU can take that **** somewhere else. And it’s too funny how you play offense AND defense as far as talking race goes! But I know that was several months and mood swings ago so it’s no biggy!

But since you’ve for the past few days have quoted and targeted me with snide little comments and now name calling with stupid insults... I’ll too go ahead and put this post in Laymen’s terms for you... You can eat **** and choke on it if you don’t like my Solis > Ortiz opinion or any others I got. Everyone has a right to there opinion on here. And your prissy little retort didn’t change my mind.

Lol And I know you’re “DARK” and all sorts of pseudo nasty so you’ll come back with some snarky bull**** because that’s what you do 18 hours a ****ing day on here. But I’ll just leave this little chat here and not give you what you’re most likely looking for and plug up this thread.

    Good Talk! Happy Posting.

At their best, Solis was a better fighter. Solis ate away his career though. He was about to give Vitali a boxing clinic before his knee blew out from being too fat.

I don't like it when people can't accept that they were wrong and make 101 excuses like some in this thread.

On this topic, I don't think Vitali beat anyone as good as a 38 year old Ortiz. And definitely nobody better.

    Yeah, haha, this.

Solis entered the fight wearing a knee brace. Didn't take long to go down. 1 + 1 = a good chance he entered the fight with the knee ligament already torn and like the rest of his career was lazy and shortsighted (in addition to the most important; financial incentive)

I don't even care about if Solis was doing good for 2 minutes. It's the classic "Khan was destroying Garcia until...!" Yeah, until he got slaughtered in less than a third of the scheduled rounds. Solis got KO'd in one round, all there is to it.

Ortiz > Solis... it honestly isn't so much a close debate. Resume AND eye test should say the same here.

He did not enter the ring with a knee brace. He did enter the fight with a knee injury that made the fight somewhat of a gamble, but not totally unreasonable to fight with. I don't think anyone in his team could've foreseen him getting caught with an equilibrium shot and tearing every ligament in his knee in half though.
