Five reasons why Joseph Parker will be a better win for Anthony Joshua than Luis Ortiz was for Deontay Wilder:

    1. Parker doesn't suffer from health conditions such as high blood pressure

    2. Parker is not overweight, he's in excellent physical condition, and will not gas after a few rounds

    3. Parker is in his prime at age 26, Ortiz is an old man

    4. Parker is faster than Ortiz

    5. Parker has a world title and several successful title defenses (including 2 wins against undefeated prime opponents) while old Ortiz had never been in a world title fight

    6. Most people here love to hate wilder so they will agree with you

Me personally i wouldn'tsay Joshua beating Parker is any better than Wilder beating Ortiz.

Oh and dont put all your eggs in one basket son, the fight hasn't even happend yet!!

Who knows Parker might give Joshua all sorts of problems.

Unless Parker brings a gun, Joshua will knock him out.

Parker is a decent fighter, but Joshua is head and shoulders above all the other heavyweights. Joshua-Wilder will be even more of a mismatch, if it ever happens.

ortiz has better fundamentals than parker and he is a southpaw

ortiz has more power than parker as well.

but parker is young/fresh and has faster hands than joshua and he is a threat.

but my own odds were pre fights

    ortiz 55 % wilder 45%
    joshua 70% parker 30%

so 2 fights with no forgone conclusions but IMO wilder beating ortiz was harder for him to do that joshuas task is.

I agree with you man. Joshua is miles better than all these heavyweights but you seriously belive Joshua vs Wilder is a mismatch?
I think it would a great fight, slightly favouring Joshua for the win.

Until Tyson Fury gets back and cleans up the division.

I agree because Parker is a tough, good chin (allegedly quick),
good power, young, in his physical prime titlist. If...........again if,
Joshua beats him, it's the best win on his resume, better
than an old, defanged, retired and coming back Wlad
and yes, also better than Ortiz. Ortiz is still a great win
for Wilder, old or not and people should quit discounting it.
Everyone has been asking (myself included) for Wilder to
step up and fight a real ranked guy. He did and dispatched
(however ugly), the legit dark horse of the division and now
all these asterisks are coming out. I may not like people but
I give credit when it's due. Joshua and Parker deserve it from
facing each other and so do Wilder and Ortiz, and Wilder for
    his win.

Let's see the fight first. If JP does a Martin what where he's awed or some ****, no. If AJ gets a live body and still whoops that ass, yeah almost definitely.

Absolutely, a guy in his 20's, undefeated beltholder is better than old sick man who's never held a belt.

AJ vs. Parker is a HW title unification bout that will generate about $40 in revenues.
Wilder vs. Ortiz was a non-title unification fight that generated $2 million.

    Case closed.

Parker is a very average fighter.British level in the old days the type who might win the commonwealth title .Ortiz despite his age is a different class.Parker is a sacrificial lamb for AJ to dispatch in grand stile on sky ppv .A short nights work .

Yeah undeniable now, with how both Parker and Ortiz's careers have gone.
