BTW for anyone who hasn't been following the recent Sullivan stuff. This is mocking absurd arguments made about Sullivan based on pretending bareknuckle boxing pretty much wasn't a thing, or at east it was a totally separate sport back then.

That was some much needed clarification.

Dumb or revisionist or both troll ? The debate was never if bareknuckle was "a thing" .. it was Sullivan's record under M of Q, a completely different "thing". Sorry if this is too challenging for you . Anyone else can read the related threads which memorialize my point.

Yup, and because that makes sense I assume you'll also enjoy a discussion about Muhammad Ali's 10 round record.

Yes scrub Alis name from the record books and his alter ego Clay, a wannabe no mark, all talk no action, boxing historians of the future will thank BitPlayerVesti for his insightful view of Ali and his crap legacy, a six round journeyman at best.

This is, perhaps, the most ridiculous thread ever posted.
Honing his wares early in 10 rounders? Who didn't?
Trevor Berbick? Give me a ******* break.
If you're not too big, let me punt your gen x arse back to the General Forum.

Its supposed to be ridiculous. Hes poking fun at HeGrants ridiculous post about Sullivan. Hes saying you can pick artificial criteria to hem any fighter in and make them look bad but why? Why would you throw out significant parts of a fighters career that actually tell us quite a lot about him in order to create some bogus criteria for an argument you are trying to put forth? I agree with him completely. Grant's post, like most of his posts over the past couple of years, was asinine.

You agree with what miserable one ? Perhaps you can name Sullivan's top M of Q victories over heavyweights instead of spewing your legendary venom. We know you're more of a ***** than ever since your life's work turned out to be a flop but give it a shot ..

For a very brief time MA was known as Cassius X. The media said "WTF?".

Speaking of names I heard that George Foreman’s parents named him George because they were big fans of the former great British icon, George Formby who was kind of like the British Justin Bieber of his time.

More than likely "Tiny Tim" took Formby to another level:

Im just not stupid enough to completely ignore the mans CV outside of MQ as some dumbass means of creating a false criteria for he wasnt as good, accomplished, or whatever point you are trying to make. To pretend that has no impact or weight in regards to his accomplishments at MQ, particularly given the context of that era when the lines were heavily blurred is plain stupid and there are no two ways about that. For someone who claims in his avatar to be a historian thats pretty lightweight, even for you.

So the self proclaimed scholar (really a black market film hoarding archivist) who spent twenty years (imagine the disappointment over wasted opportunity cost) assembling the second best (out of two) received Greb books of the Twenty First Century won't dignify me with an answer because he can't. Instead, after shooting off his keyboard with his usual knee jerk vemon, he realizes he did not (or could not) digest my point and is floundering by spinning what I asked for. Stay with your trolls where you're most comfortable and best served as you cannot answer the same question I've been asking since the beginning which is "name the best M of Q fighters Sullivan defeated under M of Q rules to define his accomplishments as a M of Q fighter. "

You have not, Janitor has not, BitPlayerTroll has not .. still waiting ..
