Sorry Abel but telling a story months after the fight is ridiculous.

The alleged hand wraps and PED failure are in regards to the same set of fighters and fight...so I would say they are the same topic.

As for GGG going through with the fight. Imo he won clearly last time and will again so why not and there is too much money in the fight for it not to happen.....hence the test failure will be quickly forgotten.

Might be a state by state thing.

Yeah but Paulie M is’nt balanced with it, he just comes across as a Pac hating Mayweather groupie, basically a liar. He blagged about McGregor sparring, then eventually it came out he got embarrassingly slapped about... Pauline’s a great talker, but there’s a bit of a twat in him too

It does vary by state. The NSAC allows this. It is a controversial issue and I think most states ban this, but Nevada (Las Vegas) is okay with it.

Annoyingly, it seems the gauze-tape-gauze issue is not covered. Below is an excerpt from the IBF rules. The WBA and WBO say essentially the same thing, couldn't see it mentioned at all in the WBC rules.

So then, Canelo's hand wraps weren't illegal.

    Which states ban it?

    Why is it annoying?

California, based on the second video I posted.

Because it is not clear and creates confusion. Such as Sanchez (based in California) thinking stacked wraps are illegal (which they are in California) in Nevada.

which video? You posted the rules of California, don't see where it says that's illegal.

Yes, in 2017 after moving to 175. But it’s good that you’re taking his word at not moving back down to 168 to potentially fight GGG because that must mean you believe him when he said he would fight GGG at 168 back in 2015.

How about 164 I believe was the response.

From what I have heard most states ban this. When I look at the rules of the state athletic commissions (I only checked NY and CA) I actually didn't see anything listed about it which is odd. I'll ask my friend about this that knows way more about this tomorrow for you. Maybe he will have more information. This is weird since I have heard of this being illegal before and I only just now found out the NSAC approves of this. I don't understand why I can't find information about this being explicitly banned anywhere.

Because he has probably also heard that is illegal but neither one of us are finding rules explicitly banning it. I read one article saying most states ban this but Nevada isn't one of them. I think it is just a grey area.
