I hope you are right. We will see. I don't think Sergey is the same fighter he was 2 or 3 years ago.

 

I would agree but Bivol can win if he goes to the body early

Imho Bivol is way way way smarter and better boxer than kovalev.

Kovalev will only be dangerours the first 6 rounds, then bivol would eat him alive. And bivol has proved that he's smart and skilled enough to keep calm for 6 rounds and then start working.

I would love to watch that fight, tbh, and I wouldnt favour kovalev.

EDIT: btw, for those complaining about bivol's power. Kovalev's chin isnt exactly a chin made of adamantium, tbh. Average chin, man, ward doesnt punch for sheet and he sent kovalev to dance "waka waka hey hey".

 

Bivol is talented but I don't think he's ready for Kovalev yet. Kovalev stops him.

Exactly. He's better. Ward plus some power, and less reliance on fouling.

 

I'd say it was more the body shots, in the final balance. Ward's dirtiness allowed him a means of transmittal of those body shots. Bivol doesn't have to be (and never is) dirty to land downstairs effectively.
