A cutie vs. cutie matchup that wouldn't be dull. Each at their best, I'd have to go with the Pittsburgh Kid a.k.a. Max Cady. As much as I like Malignaggi, Spadafora has more to work with.

2007 Paulie too much speed and craft. And that jab.

2 point UD for the Magic Man

At their prime both about the same speed, curious how Paulie himself sees it

Spaddy is a Corleone to Malli's Jersey Shore Ronnie.

It's not even fair to compare them because one had the balls to fight EVERYONE, and the other was one of the most protected belt holders of all time. If Spaddy fought Paulie's opposition, I assure you his fraudly unbeaten streak wouldn't have lasted long. Whereas Paulie M could have beaten all the no-hopers Spaddy feasted on.

So there's your answer... Malignaggi whups Spaddy's ass. Better, tougher, and far more proven.

Yeah, let's see how well Spaddy would have done against a prime Cotto...

Spaddy was a fraud. The man went life and death with Victoriano Sosa, got owned by Leo Dorin, and dropped a few rounds to a completely washed up Angel Manfredy.

What in the **** suggests he could beat Malignaggi?

Hell... I'd still watch just out of intrigue today despite the fact that it would be a C level fight. Both still have enough left where it would be an interesting affair and clash though. No idea who'd win prime for prime though... As others have said Paulie was the more proven and thus you'd have to favor him on that.

Paulie wins. He had a bit more power....actually KO'd some people before his hands turned to al dente pasta.
And most definitely fought much better competition.
