He's tough, I will give him that... While Valdez hasn't looked great lately, he still better then Quigg
No sympathy. Countries need laws, and they need to be enforced. It doesn't matter if grandpappy is the nicest guy on Earth, he's a criminal for being in the United States illegally. EDIT: Jheez, that post reads harshly. And Valdez seems like a really nice guy whose heart is in the right place. But at the same time, some kind of hard stand has to be taken about the flagrant disregard for American laws. I could understand possible exceptions for elderly folks with health issues who've been in the country for a certain time. So I guess I do feel a degree of sympathy. Those uncles, though, they've got to go.
It read rather confusingly for when I saw it, both your reply and the post of mine you quoted, as I haven't read either of those Valdez or Quigg interviews I posted yet lol.
FTR, I agree with what you said and Valdez does come across as a very likeable guy too. BTW, I just finished watching that DIG documentary, literally 10 minutes ago. I really enjoyed it.
Quigg knocks this bum out. If someone unknown Filipino taxi driver can drop him and hurt him that much imagine what Quigg will do. Quigg for me, is the biggest puncher in the featherweight division, and he has a solid chin whereas Valdez was clearly hurt by that feather fisted taxi driver.
He's a very good fighter. He put up a great show against Frampton with a bad broken jaw. Not impressed with him under Roach though
