Off the top of my head, I know an ancient Bob Fitzsimmons was knocked out in the second round by Jack Johnson, who was at that time chasing a World Heavyweight Title shot at Tommy Burns. I'm not sure Ted Kid Lewis ever fought any Black fighters. It looks to be the same story with Jimmy Wilde; although he did get knocked out by Pancho Villa -- a Filipino -- in what was his last fight.

 

Postol is probably happy that he wasn't in the ring with Prograis.

Baranchyk is fun to watch, but my opinion hasn't changed in that I feel he's a disaster waiting to happen. The guy makes Brandon Rios look defensively responsible.

To be honest, I wouldn't even favor Ivan over Lipinets, let alone Prograis.

Rougarou stops Baranchyk inside of 5. Regis is actually the bigger puncher of the two, and he's a faaaarrr better technician.

 

There are men of small stature from every part of the world. While I want to agree with you regarding Wilder vs Povetkin, I can't, because Povetkin initially tested positive. Regardless of whether it was a technicality. You can't really fault Wilder for not going through with the fight. And you can't really fault Povetkin. Meldonium can stay in the body long after the person stops taking it, and it was only recently illegal. There are probably still people now who will test positive for it, although they haven't used it in ages.

 

Yeah. He PMs me talking about race, and usually ends up making racially derogatory comments about darker complected peoples, and muslims, while trying to lure me into a race battle with him. As stiff and robotic as Postol is, it would have been a highlight reel knockout. It's mind boggling looking at all the clowns that picked Postol over Crawford.

Exactly. Even in that Matthysse fight, to me it seemed more Matthysse just being washed up, than anything Postol was doing. A Matthysse a couple years younger would have destroyed Postol.

 

That last fight of The Machine was like watching a machine that you pray starts up when you flip the switch. If he was a car he would of been flooded from the gas peddle pumping just trying to get started
