I can’t see past a Valdez win esp given that Quigg who has had his PEDs taken away which I’m sure is the reason for him missing weight by over two pounds. Very strange how Quigg signed up to be tested by Vada in the run up to this fight,suddenly can’t explain how a gym rat like himself can’t make weight anymore?
Big chunk in fines plus Oscar gets some of his cash as well, got to laugh after all the big talk hearn made about how much top rank stumped up to make the fight.

Quigg missing the weight was definitely unintentional on his part IMO, you can see it in his eyes that he's genuinely sorry and gutted it happened.
Man, If Quigg could learn how to cut a ring he'd be a helluva pressure fighter. Roach showing himself to be just a celebrity trainer at this point. No worthwhile instruction to Quigg at all between rounds. Valdez won by a small margin IMO and was hurt repeatedly by a basically shot ex-titlist. He loses to a fired up Carl Frampton or LSC.
Valdez was better than I thought. Valdez was the better man , I was wrong. I'm not one these idiots like @TheAkbarOne who makes really petty excuses after one of his favourite fighters loses. It was a good competitive fight throughout I had it closer than the judges though.. 7-5 Valdez.
