And inspite of my distaste with the politics leading to his protection and his delusional fans that attempt to justify his gift v GGG, Alvarez actually performed better than I thought he could. He stays close enough in most of his fights that a gift card seems like the norm. But I don't hold it against him. He did his best and made a fight of it v GGG
Agreed 100%. That was the best I've seen Canelo look. I don't think he won or that a draw was sensible, but he raised his level in that fight nonetheless.
