Underrated fight Very good match up, while Iman is more skilled, dude seems to hate pressure & not have the best chin... Ramirez style is all wrong for him & IMO, he blasts Iman out in 8... TKO
Imam is totally trash and I haven't seen much of the other guy is this the guy that just beat Mike reid
I'm rooting for Amir Imam. I was always impressed with him as a pro. Plus, I have no idea who Jose Ramirez is. And I went on Boxrec, and there are nearly 80 guys named Jose Ramirez. So I also hope Imam wins because he's the only Amir Imam. And, should he win, people will actually know who he is. Sounds dumb. But so what. I'm sorry. If there were 80 guys named Deontay Wilder (there's only one licensed boxer with that name) or Anthony Joshua (again, only one) fighting, I'd suggest some of them pick a pseudonym. Boxing is difficult enough to follow without everyone having the same name. I remember when it was hard enough trying to explain to people which Klitschko was which, and they didn't even have the same name. I also hope one of the Charlos quits boxing, because I have no idea who is who. So I'll be rooting against Jose "There Are Also Another 1,090 Guys With The Last Name" Ramirez on Saturday.
Are you sure you haven't seen him? Boxers named Jose Ramirez fought in October 2017, November 2017, December 2017, January 2018 and February 2018 ... and now in March 2018. (Seriously.)
Yeah, the licensing orgs should get together and decide to only issue one license per name (like the Screen Actors Guild does). If that name is taken, go by your mother's surname, or make up a name, or pick the name of someone who used to fight but is now deceased. But this is getting ridiculous. You can't even refer to boxers by their last name, like Marciano. There was one license given to one boxer who went by the name Rocky Marciano (not his real name). That's it. Everyone knows who he was. We can move on. If there were 90 Rocky Marcianos, and one was fighting every month, it would water down the power of the name.
Lol am not that interested enough in this fight to see if it is that guy but even if it is or isn't imam will probably loses his defense is terrible and he doesn't hit as hard as the hype suggested but it could be a good fight while it lasts
LOL. Maybe. If he was fighting Jose Luis Ramirez, I'd have more of an opinion. He was the only Jose Ramirez in my book.
