Hearn travelled to meet with Wilder's team and made the first offer.....

    That isn't being 'scared'.

That Joshua is publicly discussing another opponent less than 3 weeks out from his fight with Parker demonstrates he isn't completely focused on Parker. It is called getting ahead of yourself, and it is a dangerous practice. One that has bought many boxers undone.

Wilder needs to accept what he is worth and we get the answers.

Until then Wilder can continue to fight for what Joshua loses down the back of his sofa.

Joshua has a slightly better tank than Ortiz but his chin is probably worse. I can see him being windmilled out late on.

Wilder has to survive til 'late on'. It took him 5 rounds of doing not much to land clean on Ortiz.
If I were Joshua I would jump on him early. The longer AJ stays at range then the more likely that Wilder equaliser is to land. Close to 2/3 distance, apply pressure, and beat the much smaller Wilder up.

Is he? I just read an interview with Eddie Hearn. “You guys” I didn’t say anything of the sort.

Where is he “publicly discussing” it? All I see is an interview with his promoter.

And even if he was discussing, it wouldn't mean he isn't focused on Parker. Unless people expect fighters to literally not talk about anything except their upcoming fight in the run up to a fight.

Joshua's opinions on Wilder are being made public inside 3 weeks of his fight with Parker. Whether it is him saying it directly, or his manager making public what Joshua is saying and thinking makes no difference. Joshua's full concentration should be on Parker and clearly it isn't.

“All this talk about Deontay Wilder, I think Anthony Joshua looks past Joseph Parker at his peril” - David Higgins, manager of Joseph Parker.

“Anthony Joshua’s making a grave mistake, if he’s looking past Parker. It’s one thing to quietly analyse future possibilities, but if they are going any further and are in the early stage of negotiations, it’s far too early for any of that".

I really have no idea what some of you guys watch some times..

What on Earth gives you the impression Wilder has this super gas tank?? The Ortiz fight was a snooze feast for the majority of the fight where fan were booing on multiple occasions. Ortiz was knocked down hard in the 5th punched himself out in the 7th and was still going not because his gas tank is great but because the fight pace was so slow...

Wilder was put under real pressure for the first time in his career and took two rounds to recover. Then the fight went back to its slow plodding pace.

Wilder is a reactive fighter who waits for his opponent to make a decision then when they make a mistake he windmills them into submission..

Lets be honest fighting average opponents to 39 fights should make you gas tank look better that what it is..

Wilder's windmilling will probably be an attribute against Joshua, to beat him you need to be wild but accurate, powerful and unorthodox.

Blizz, I know that deep down, you're a decent chap. So let me offer you some good advice: please don't put any money on that happening. Think of your children's future.

I'm hoping Parker puts Joshua to sleep. He's the bloke I'd like to see running the HW division. Actually, I'd like to see Povetkin rule, but he's too old now imho.
