Maybe Sanchez should push for having Canelo suspended if he cares so much about consequences.. NO, he is happily going forward with the fight for his paycheck. Abel is undoubtedly a scumbag putting his fighter GGG at risk, if he is indeed concerned about the positive test.

Good grief you're a pretentious twat. Do you think pretending to stress how DANGEROUS the amounts were is fooling anyone? It's clear your hyperbolic reactions aren't sincere.

3G's team believes they can win AGAIN. That doesn't mean they are fine with letting anything in his system go undisclosed.

But if you actually feel this way, then you're essentially admitting Canelo's test does give him a huge advantage. Or, more realistically, you're a hyperbolic little drama queen twat...

Except that it's not consistent at all. The levels are elevated and way above the norm for "meat contamination". At 600-800 Picograms, that's at about the 97% percentile of the people tested positive for Clenbuterol over the years.

The majority of all athletes in the past who tested positive were less than 300 picograms, with most in the 50-200 range. Canelo's test result was much higher than that and indicates PED usage.

I refuse to accept any "meat contamination" excuse from an athlete with Canelo's wealth. If we start accepting this excuse, then all Mexican fighters can openly cheat without being punished. They can intentionally take Clenbuterol and blame it on "meat contamination" with little to no consequence. The boxing world CANNOT accept this precedent. Punishment must be served.

While doing some research, I found Canelo's diet on GQ:
    https://www.gq.com/story/canelo-alvarez-real-life-diet

    Breakfast
Egg whites with ham and orange juice

    Lunch
Chicken with carrots, squash, broccoli and cauliflower

    Snacks
    Apples, cucumbers, grapes, jicama

    Dinner
    Protein shake with no carbs

    So where's the beef?

You know, I know, we all know nothing is going to be done, the WBC released a statement almost excusing the failed test before any potential investigation.

I believe it was the WBA president (I'm sure it was him) said this failed test "added more drama to the fight".

Golovkin, Sanchez and Loeffler all know, just like we do that nothing is going to be done so what's the point in shouting for anything to be done? It's a complete waste of time.

Canelo tested positive for a banned substance, the point now is that Canelo is tainted, stained, tarnished, whatever you want to say, forever.

All his past achievements should be questions just like any future achievements.

Golovkin fans or any boxing fans have been pretty cool about it, there has been the odd meltdown but there always is.

Go on twitter and look, Boxing fans have had a real giggle and ripped Canelo to pieces, some of the jokes and memes have been absolutely superb.

Canelo is a joke now, even if he wins the biggest fight of his career in May, it means nothing, he can't claim any credit after testing positive for a banned substance and nobody with any credibility will give him any credit apart from GBP and Canelo fanboys like you.

Aze hole listen up....You get the benefits from the PEDs and maintain most of the effects long after it’s out your system so how does he give back that edge to make it fair?
No one cycles all year as you make the adjustment and gains and cycle off until the next 9-14 weeks.

    I agree.

It's beyond me how Canelo fans can even try to excuse all this, I'm telling everybody right now if any fighter I liked/supported tested positive for a banned substance then I'd turn on them like a shot.

I'd savage them far worse than I've savaged Canelo because I'd feel they have mugged me off and took me for a little bit of a fool.

I don't care what the excuses are, that's it, it would be over for me as a "fan", there really are no excuses in this day and age.

There are phone numbers athletes, fighters and sports men and women can ring day and night and ask if they can take any substance, for example if they have a cold they can ring a number and get advice.

So after all these other fighters ate contaminated meat and the fact Canelo's trainer is an ex butcher who was involved in the meat business in Mexico I'm not having their excuses.

It makes no sense, it doesn't add up when you actually take a look at it, who is involved and when you think it happened at this level of the sport with this amount of money involved.

I just posted this in a different thread, so I'll post it here as well:

Since this is supposed to be investigated, shouldn't the lab director that stated it was because of bad meat be able to supply data that would support that theory, and then have that data analized by another lab to verify? Wouldn't that be part of any investigation?

If this director has no data to support his statement, then it's just another guys opinion.

I see what you did there. Nice.

Funny, I know alot of people with the title of "Director" who have no direct hands on knowledge or training in their field.
    Example:
I am a supervisor in the big rig trucking industry, but I have no idea how to drive an 18 wheeler. I know guys who are directors and VPs in the same industry, and guess what, they wouldn't know how to drive a truck either.

CLENelo Alvasteroids needs all the help he can get to win this time. You have judges and now even the WBC and WBA defending him. I am sure CLENelo Alvasteroids fans will be proud if he wins in May. Greatest achievement in history!
