    It's kind of a strange nickname and he was world champion.

    He got it cause people thought he was Chinese as a kid.

    Arthur Abraham actually went by the nickname "The Smurf" and would enter the ring to the smurf theme song while wearing a smurf hat. As a result, he received a cease and desist letter from the owners of the rights to the smurf theme song and ended up changing his nickname to "King Arthur". This change may or may not have come before he won a significant title, but it qualifies as a ridiculous alias of a former champion nonetheless.

    Terrence "Bud" Crawford is just awful.

    Fighters who use a childhood nickname are spaztarded. I can't remember any kids in the playground having names like "Lights Out" or "Bonecrusher".
