I was saying the exact same sentence (first sentence of article) regarding his reputation the day it broke, "Canelo's reputation is tarnished forever" and Canelo fanboys think I'm being harsh or hating because I'm not a fan of his, that is nothing to do with it, it's what I genuinely believe.

That's all, I honestly don't care what happens next, I don't care if they go ahead with the fight or cancel it and I have never asked for or shouted for any kind of action (A ban) because I never believed for a second Canelo would face any kind of punishment.

Regardless what Canelo does now he is a tarnished fighter, he can never get full credit for any victories because he will always be under great suspicion and that failed test will always be a shadow over him.

What Canelo fans do not understand is the WBC and others are not doing Canelo any favours by ignoring it, sweeping it under the carpet or excusing it because nobody will believe anything they say in the future regarding him testing clean or any other controversies.

It will always be looked upon as some kind of cover up, more favours like this one, it is the way things are, if they wanted to help Canelo they would treat him like they would treat a journeyman who tested positive for the same substance and that wouldn't be excusing it before any kind of investigation or explanation.
