So you're going to excuse the fact that he was tested 14X higher than Alberto Contador and the fact that his test result was higher than 95% of the people tested positive? Having a cheat day isn't going to result in 600-800 picograms in his system. Unless you mean actual cheating, like taking PEDs.

The only tainted meat Canelo had was probably sucking on the shaft of the WBC president.

Pretty sure I read something about Meldonium being used as a masking agent. Also I'd trust WADA over you anyday. Sorry Mr. Expert. We know why you defended Povetkin. Because he's a white EE. If Loma was caught on Clenbuterol and Ukraine was known for havig tainted meat, you'd be the first to defend him.

I’m assuming your rooting for GGG instead of Canelo then.

Then you haven't been following the discussion. He had elevated amounts in the first test, trace amounts in the 2nd test. You want to know more, go here:

You'll see the comparison between Canelo and other athletes who got caught.

Yeah because you have integrity and that means you have credibility.

It may happen, a fighter I like or support might test positive for a banned substance and then I'll be in here probably getting banned myself for going savage and OTT Lol

This orgnazation is corrupt as fock. So he fails two test and passes the last. How many chances does this mofo get?

It's like saying. It's OK to fail the first two. Pass the last one it's all good you are clean.

If you fail the 3rd test we can test you again and again until you come up clean.

    Ridiculous.

Yeah? Then how come that I didn't actually defend Povetkin's ostarine use, smartass? And no, I am not an expert, but these guys are:

"There's really no evidence that there's any performance enhancement from meldonium. Zero, said Don Catlin, a long-time anti-doping expert and the scientific director of the Banned Substances Control Group.

The evidence around whether it is a performance-enhancing drug is quite thin, said Mark Stuart, a pharmacist in London who is on the medical and antidoping commission of the European Olympic Committees."

As for meldonium being a masking agent, that's a new one. WADA doesn't categorize it as a masking agent, but a metabolic modulator. Why don't you reveal your source? Who claimed that, Dontae Boxing Abomination or 78IQSports?

Well anything is indeed 'possible' in this scenario. But in situations like this I try to use the little amount of common sense I have and go with whats probable. And real quick before I attempt to address your question, I want to highlight that, my post that you quoted remains my point regardless if Canelo intentionally cheated or not. So what I mean is, it doesnt matter if Canelo cheated, or ate tainted meat, the idea that subsequent testing over a week after he popped, is any sort of validation, is simply delusional wishful thinking. Regardless of the situation. Which was my point.

If Canelo was cheating, no amount of **** tests after he tested positive, vindicates him. Thats not how it works. The only thing it does, is show he didnt start another cycle after he popped. Thats it. People going around cheering how Canelo is innocent of cheating because hes passing these subsequent drug tests is honestly pretty comical. Its either someone not really comprehending why these after the fact dont vindicate, or they do comprehend it but dont care and they are pushing a fanboy agenda anyways trying to create the narrative that this somehow clears Canelos name. I believe at this point the only thing that would clear Canelos name is a hair test.

Just wanted to clarify, that whether I think Canelo cheated, or he ate tainted meat, my point stands as it is, that these tests vindicate nothing. So the discussion if he cheated or not has nothing to do with my post you quoted.

So anyways, on to your question.

    -----------------------------

I find it fairly unreasonable, to me, to think Canelo went out to his local mcdonals and ate contaminated meat -because- it would imply an unrealistic (imo) level of carelessness and ignorance on the part of him and his team *considering* their level of experience coupled with the level of notoriety mexicos beef has for exactly this sort of problem. Your examples of Floyd and Mikey going out to their local spot and having a cheat meal isnt really valid, because they arent having to take Clen contamination into account. Its a non issue for them, so its apples and oranges. Athletes in mexico however, DO take Clen into consideration.

Its just so impracticable for me to believe that an experienced professional like Canelo and Canelos team, would be that careless considering just how prolific this sort of problem is. You have to keep in mind how known of an issue this is, keep in mind how many fighters *go out of their way* to avoid exactly this problem, and how long Canelo has been around the game, to have the obvious knowledge and the resources he has available, to avoid this.

For me to think he took this risk, with as well known of an issue as this is, by going out to eat beef at some local spot.... is just not realistic to me. Everyone has to determine for themselves what they find realistic or not. If Canelo is stupid enough to do that, considering other fighters that go out of their way to avoid being in this exact situation, then hes dumber than I thought, less professional than I thought. Which is of course certainly possible.

But lets say he did.... lets say he went out to eat one time and had one cheat meal and risked everything like that because he was really craving a carne taco. ok. Well.... when the lab says what he tested at is within the range to be expected if someone had gotten it from ingesting meat... well... what does that even mean. How much meat? How many times? From how long from the time of testing? To me that people dont have these answers but just blindly say 'well ok the lab says it could possibly somehow also be from meat... so... its from meat' is just pretty weak... Because what the lab also didnt say was that these are also levels in line with an end of a cycle, and that Canelo tested MAGNITUDES higher than people that have received years of banning for their positive tests of Clen.

Again, he tested magnitudes higher than people who have received significant bans for testing positive for Clen.

So idk.... obviously who really knows. Im not going around calling Canelo a cheater or 'clenelo' and all that. But on the flip side, I am 'countering' the notion that hes innocent and also that these tests mean much of anything.

    Did he cheat? Who knows.

What I do know, is that this is a notorious issue that many high profile athletes *go out of their way* to avoid mexican beef in order to stay out of problems specifically like this, I do know that subsequent testing means absolutely nothing in terms of vindication, I do know that any mexican athlete that takes and benefits from Clen has a built in excuse of meat contamination if they were caught towards the end of their cycles, I know that other athletes have been severely punished for having significantly lower levels of Clen in their systems than Canelo had, and I know you have to be pretty stupid and unprofessional to go out to your local restaurant in mexico and eat local beef during training camp considering how notorious of a problem this is.

I also know it would suck to be truly innocent of this and forever be labeled a cheater when you truly arent.

But to me, with someone as rich as Canelo and as high profile as Canelo really wanted to prove how innocent he is, he would be doing a hair test to prove that the levels of Clen never were above the amount he was tested at. This would supposedly solve this entire thing... which is why its somewhat baffling to me he hasnt had this done to prove his innocents, or why the lab hasnt done it to prove his guilt.

Anyways, those are my .02 on it.

the failed test is going to leave a stain on this fight. If Canelo wins most fans wont give him credit. And if he loses oh man forget it.
