Looks like we've got a keyboard warrior.
Hatton never defended his title. There were British fighters who had the nads to get in the ring with Witter but the board wouldn't sanction the fight. Eventually the Board sanctioned the Bosworth fight but nobody else would fight Witter for 3 more years so the Board gave him the Lonsdale belt.

Hatton ran away from the Witter fight for years.

Yet Hatton faced and beat much better fighters.

Hatton won the title in 2000, he gave it up there and then.

Witter fought for it in 2002.....try again.

He didn't. The only African he boxed was Jan Bergman who was in the home corner, won 35 lost 1( to Tsyzu). Witter beat him whilst Hatton boxed a 4 rounder on the undercard.

Straight after the fight when Witter called him out live on TV.

I'm trying, but it's not sinking in. I've told you nobody would fight Witter so name me the British light-welter fights that happened between Thaxton-Hatton and Witter-Bosworth.

    Bergmann was prior to Judah.

Secondly you are correct, Witters African bum tour went on after Bosworth.

But put together Witters W-L-D opponent record for the fighters from Judah to Bosworth.

You can't name them because nobody would fight Witter, as I told you.

Hatton ducked it so Witter changed the promoter and added the Commonwealth and European title the following year.

Against sub par opposition, at least Hatton was facing ex champions or title challengers.
