Nice 9 minute highlight video of all the low blows Salido landed in that fight, over 80.

Salido lost that fight , unless you count low blows as legit punches

Loma lost fair and square. Almost all those shots were on the belt line. Loma's talented, but seems weak against pressure fighters. If Loma really thought he won he would've immediately rematched Salido.

I've watched this fight a few times, there's no way you can score it to Salido or you would have to have serious gaps in your boxing knowledge.

Loma wanted to win a belt to make history. Salcheato lost that title on the scales. Why should have Lomachenko rematched him IMMEDIATELY?

Most of Loma's punches were landing on Salido's gloves. Also, Salido was backing up Loma almost the whole fight and landing cleaner shots. Loma came on strong late, but dropped too many rounds to win the decision.

If Loma really thought he earned the decision he should've made an immediate rematch, but didn't. Instead he chose Russel Jr, who was a far easier matchup than Salido. Loma also hasn't fought a pressure fighter since.

Correct. It was a brilliant effort, but Loma figured out Salido too late. If the fight had gone 15 Loma would have won though.

GRJ is the better fighter, but it's true. GRJ is the easier match up.

ward did the same thing against kovalev. When outmatched they resort to scumbag tactics. I respect salidos boxing skills but as a human, hes a piece of ****. He got caught cheating with roids, then he pulls this **** while coming in over weight, and when offered a career high pay day he turns it down asking for more for the rematch.

Except he didn't "choose" Russell. WBO ordered that fight for the vacant title. The title became vacant because Salcheato lost it on the scales.

He was defeated . Pretty clearly in my book. Move on he'll still have a fantastic career.

Nobody is slamming Loma for losing to Salido, unless it's in jest. He took his L, and kept it moving, beating a much better opponent, clearly, in his next fight. It just wasn't in the cards for him to be 8-0 at that point.

How would he have done that when Salido missed weight and moved up immediately? Did Loma pursue the rematch when he moved up? Yes he did, and who didn’t want it? Salido ducked the rematch because he knows how lucky he was and what he got away with the first time. He knew lightning wasn’t going to strike twice.
