Canelo popped for Clenbuterol

Well I've always respected your opinion whether I agreed with it or not, but ill stick to my guns until its proven Canelo took it purposely.. You are as always entitled to your own opinion.

 

I just find it astonishing how this has just been swept under the rug.

You've totally ignored the amount of clen found in his system dwarfing the amount others have been nailed to the wall for. People can't be this stupid - but even if your agenda is to pump up Canelo for whatever reason - this is a doomed argument. Nelo fans are much better off saying it's just a fact of life now, which sadly it is.

"Just because it's small doesn't mean it's not doping," WADA's Christiane Ayotte told the New York Times. "This is just the dopers adjusting or mis-adjusting to the testing."

Ayotte runs the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) lab outside of Montreal. She commented on the recent cases of athletes testing positive for small amounts of Clenbuterol. The drug helps breathing and weight loss.

- China's Fuyu Li: 50-100 picograms
- Italy's Alessandro Colò: 200 picograms
- Spain's Alberto Contador: 50 picograms
- Germany's Dimitrij Ovtcharov: 75 picograms
- Mexico's Saul "Canelo" Alvarez: 600-800 piocgrams"
