It's all about risk and reward. If true Chisora is going to fight Takam which is an excellent fight. If he wins that he' back in mix at world level were as besting Joyce wouldn't do that. Haye as we know is just spinning it, if Chisora lost to Joyce his careers over and for what 50k (time he paid manager promoter taxes, not worth risk when your a millionaire already).

Whatever Palmer got paid it was to much he was terrible padded record pathetic they should have just got a tough journeyman would have give joyce some rounds and probably would have been cheaper and Simmons only fights one way he has nothing different easy to read and that's why I picked askin because his basic and imo will always lose to decent fighters

He’s ready for the main boys now, they’re just wasting his time putting these cardboard cutouts in front of him. He’s got pretty impressive shot variety & angles for a big lad. The amateur pedigree is clearly there. It must be pretty flattering having someone like David Haye believing in you when you’re turning pro but can he afford to wait for him to get him the fights he needs right now? He needs big financial backing cos they’re going to have to dig a bit deeper in their pockets to pay fella’s to fight him.

Agree should look to someone like Christian Hammer as an Opponent or someone of that quality.

Is Joyce fighting Gabe Brown next? I'm sure Haye can tempt him out of retirement.

Absolutely, I respect Chisora but he needs to be matched above that now already. Get him in with someone like Hammer like you say. Even go a bit higher like Pulev.

Pulev is completely unrealistic, Chisora would be a perfect fight for Joyce right now.

Maybe mate. I just think he’s ready. He’s done his apprenticeship in the amateurs and needs to crack on quickly. He’s learning nothing in these knockover fights.

Now that was a LOL burger fight for Joyce. It looked like his opponents training was a diet of burgers and beer, with no cardio.

Haye is not going to win Joyce any fans putting on match ups like that. In fact its going to turn them off.

They need money to put him in with a top 15 ranked guy ASAP

Pulev maybe a step to far and Hayemaker will be looking at risk management but if you look at the names on his amateur record he should certainly be mixing it at British level in his next fight Allen, Gorman, Cornish, Sexton are all very realistic opponents if available and perhaps even Lenroy Thomas for the commonwealth moving on to a European level opponent after that. He should be three fights away from a fringe world fighter IMO.

Looks like he got the Chisora fight so I was completely wrong!

What level does everyone rate current Chisora?
    • World
    • Fringe
    • Euro
    • British
