120-108 is just as hideous as 115-113. I can live with 117-111 for sure.

Imam doesn't control distance well, and had a problem with Ramirez' head movement. Imam jabbed a bit too much without parking his power right hands behind the jab also. Not sure why his trainer told him don't throw the right hand yet. That was some stupid advice.

Because boxing is not like basketball where there's a points system, it's ultimately subjective. There are 4 categories to score on and some judges value clean punching, some value defense, some value ring generalship etc etc

Vitali did better on all fronts in that fight, and that's why he won.

I never said Imam won, I don't score fights live because of inaccuracies.

From what I saw, Ramirez did the better work in the fight and I estimate that he probably won in terms of points.

I enjoyed this fight a lot. I still think Imam could make some noise at the weight, but Ramirez looks like he could be a solid champ and as a fan of Imam I wouldn't want him to be asking for a rematch.

115-113 is being generous to Imam. Thought 117-111 is pretty spot on. the 120 score card is just disrespectful

Prograis vs Ramirez would be a fun fight to watch. Mikey and Taylor beat them both clearly imo, so I'd rather see those guys fight first.

Well, that's why I say it's all subjective, all judges score differently in pro boxing too. Adelaide Byrd said she never gives out 10-10 rounds, Lou Filippo values damage, Dave Moretti values ring generalship and defense from what I know.

To win a round clean, you have to really do better on all 4 categories of which scoring is based on, and if not like I said it really depends on what you value more.

When Pep won the 3rd round against Graves without landing a punch, I estimate that the judges were valuing ring generalship and defense while Jackie Graves didn't do much (Even if he landed a few punches).

About 99% of ESPN's audience just changed the channel.

Yeah it was a good competitive fight but I think Ramirez was just too tough and tenacious for Imam and that was the difference in the end. Imam is talented and I was impressed by the toughness and heart he displayed. A rematch would go the same way again though.

Yeah that was the judge Arum had in his pocket. There were some rounds that Imam won.
