    Mike Tyson said in his book that he always wanted to fire Don King, but Don was the only promoter that could bring him a million dollars in cash on an hour’s notice.

    bob arum better for his fighters than king

    not that i like arum but he cares more for his fighters during and after there career.

    suliman and king was very very bad for boxing and boxers/ with the american justice system the way it is how did the 2 of them stay out of jail for the last 40 years. ?

    Blizz, I know plenty about Don King, his murders, his mob dealings, his ripping off fighters and all that. And yet Don King has never been arrested or murdered or even beat up by any of the guys he ****ed over. So either he is the real gangster or those fighters are punk ass bitches.

    Once those great men depart...You will miss them

    The biggest US promoters have more resources than Don King or Arum had

    Haymon turned out to be less committed to boxing than he should be, a guy who is not willing to be present is not planning to lead...just producing volume and making Money Moves, GBP is Cinnamon or Nothing, Jay-Z is not willing to get deeper into boxing...Boxing is Very rough world...Only great men like Don King or Bob Arum can make great fights

    If Hearn throws Femi under the Bus, move to the USA...He might be the man to rejuvenate boxing...

    Promoters who can only focus on one boxer only, should be Managers not Promoters...
