    I think most elite fighters stay pretty elite until their very late 30s.

    Generally I'd say it's 39 and older when you start seeing massive declines in performance. I think Black fighters tend to last a little longer than White fighters as well.

    Golovkin is a bit young to be declining the way I personally think he is. Perhaps that's a reflection of how much punishment he's taken. I don't know. But I would say he's declining hard and needs to take the Canelo fight as soon as possible before he's too far gone. Honestly, I think it might already be too late.

    Yeah, his resume is awesome and he has fought the best of Europe's HW division. He gives new comers the blues still to this day. Chisora is no buster.

    Its his style, the pressure starts losing steam more noticeably than pure boxers imo. I also think he's maybe out of time at the top

    A fighter in top form after 35 is extremely rare. The reflexes and gas tank just go after that age. It's inevitable. Hopkins and Marquez were arguably elite after 35, but they were already past their prime.

    A fighter’s prime is generally 28-32. If GGG is declining it’s because he’s not juicing.
