When for example he couldn't stop a Robert Guerrero (similiar sized southpaw) For me, he threw too many arm punches so Floyd didn't have to power about his power, and his feints were non existent. Basically all Floyd knew he had to do was cover up then return fire.
Can’t full remember the fight but didn’t Conner gas? Wasn’t it kinda a stoppage via fatigue? Conner was empty?
Floyd knew connors stamina was suspect from the Diaz fights, he let McGregor punch himself out and then went in for the kill, floyd dragged him into deep water and then drowned him. McGregor also tried to out box a boxer, he was also looking stiff as a board and lacked fluid full body movement.
Conor simply didn't have the gas tank to go 12 rounds. If he'd run in training as much as he'd talked at the pressers he'd have been the first guy to stop Floyd. Floyd had no answer to his pressure nor his footwork. I'd put money on Floyd and by the end of the 4th my wallet was already feeling lighter. Gave me a damn scare alright.
He did nothing wrong. He made mad $ in a fight that he had 0 chance in Hell of winning. It was obvious that Floyd was going to take him to school...then he carried Connor all the way and could have stopped him pretty much at will if had he turned it up at any point.
I know I shouldn't need too, but i'm just checking to be on the safe side BC. You don't really believe what I just quoted you saying do you ???
Thank fook there's still a few that see that fight for what it was. If May went out there and took it serious with no script, Connor wouldn't have a career left, even in MMA his stock would drop with missing every punch and getting pot shotted with power that May don't show usually, but he would in this fight because he wouldn't have to for long
My eyes told me that Conor probably won the first 4 rounds. Floyd looked like crap. If the fight had continued like that, Conor would have won, is what I'm saying.
