I’m talking if Rocky was healthy. Obviously, if he was shot he’d be at a disadvantage. He still wipes the floors with nearly all the top 10, outside of maybe Floyd and he can be slightly shot and I would still pick him.

I’ll give you that, but he could have fought at 60% and beaten 7-8 of the top ten at the time.

Even if he did that, he’d still get **** on.

ATG p4p,? Maybe top 100. Sure theirs well over a 100 fighters better than he was P4P. Possibly top 15-20 at heavy.

Hope you're on some sort of chemical or a demographic saying he's only between 15-20 hw. Easy top 10

I always felt that the smaller heavyweights fighting in an open division were always at a deficit and proved their greatness P4P more often than most....Marciano was always at a deficit save a couple of times

Emanuel Steward stated he was slow, had balance issues, fought past prime men and would be too small for today's heavies, but WTF would he know?

Marciano hit him after the bell in the bell in the 4th rd and Moore immediately punched him in the mouth in return.
Marciano doesn't make my top ten at heavyweight.
I haven't made an extended p4p list ,but I doubt he would feature in the top 35 there either.

The interesting thing about Marciano in a pound for pound sense is that he actually defeated 3 (arguably) of the top 10 pound for pound all time greats in Ezzard Charles, Joe Louis and Archie Moore. In the case of two of those fighters (, he was actually the smaller fighter. He and Moore were pretty much the same weight for their fight, but Moore regularly fought at a weight which was a lot higher than Marciano ever fought at!

Dont forget that the number one pound for pound (Sugar Ray Robinson) also openly ducked him and quite rightly made it perfectly clear that he would have got knocked out by Marciano.

Charles and Moore were definitely greats ,but at lhvy not heavyweight.
A skinny middleweight ducking a heavyweight ? Shame on him!
