And he has no granite chin because he would have completely walked threw groves shot to land but he didn't he got stopped in his tracks every time his chin is good but not granite
Lol if groves didn't hurt him what stopped him from walking down groves and doing what he did to other opponent lol his hand picked basic opponents
The Eubanks should get done under the Trades description act for conning people lol. The amount of old pros who thought he would beat Groves was worst bit of it all, they more than anyone should have seen how many fundamentals Eubank lacks in.
To be honest with Eubanks style his very life would have been in danger v GGG so from that point of view I am glad we didn't see it but I get your point as it would have been a massacre.
The hype got unreal he 100% ran scared of golovkin and his fanboys were ok with it and when he had his run at super middle against hand picked opponents claiming he was going to be the best there lol when he ran from a smaller guy in golovkin and he also vacated his trash interim title because he wanted to win the British lol his entire career has been a joke
In the 12th actually when people seemed to thing Groves was clinging on he quite clearly hurt Jr. He hurt him plenty and should have had a couple of KD's scored. I'd forgotten this fight even happened and it has restored some joy to my soul
Mad to think that although Eubank won that round with the pressure, Groves not only landed more shots but landed a couple of bombs. He can give it the ‘he didn’t hurt me’ line but the legs don’t lie and they gave on him twice.
Is anyone willing to acknowledge that his father is in fact realistic about what happened. He clearly saw that his son was beaten fair and square and said so. All this talk of Chris Sr being deluded is unfair.
The thoughts going into that fight were that Jr would always win the inside battles, but I didn't see that happen during the fight quite as clearly as was suggested. I thought Groves blocked and evaded most of it, as well as countering Jr to the body really well, one time which left him on the floor. This was up there with Broner-Maidana for me. Not AS good obviously but in terms of UK fights, most certainly. I picked Groves but I think for many this is one of those fights that retrospectively should have been so easy to pick.
