It is solid, he hasn't looked on unsteady feet in any fight BUT he has done a bit of a "yeah is that all you got?" type performance when he's been clipped with a solid clean shot before which I often find hard not to actually read as "I felt that, it wasn't going to drop me but I'm going to pretend it was nothing and hopefully you won't realise I can be hurt".

 

Has he been in with a quality puncher that landed flush? If he doesn't have a Tua type chin, he's getting KO'd.

Hardly? It wasn't like he pulled twelve rounds worth of untouchable, Willie Pep crossed with Nightcrawler from the X-Men teleportation against Hughie or Ruiz Jr. He got hit by world class natural heavies, and took it fine. Anybody in AJ's league? Well, no, but that just means Parker happens to have not fought like 2-3 specific guys in the entire world.

 

Although I, uh, thoroughly dislike the Coens and just about everything they've ever done, I appreciate the cine-themed clarification.

People will be astounded how Parker's SPEED gets him inside all night to land shots on AJ.

AJ has faced nothing like Parker.

 

I dont see AJ having too many problems with Parker even if he gases as Parker gasses as well and doesnt have the stamina to put in the work needed to get AJ out of there as he isnt going to win a decision.
