If I had to put em in order it would be-

    Peak Lionel Rose vs Harada
    Dave Sands
    Jeff Fenech
    Les Darcy
    Young Griffo
    Johnny Famechon
    Jimmy Carruthers

I can't really claim Kostya as an Aussie ditto Vic D or Ruby Bob who is either a Cornish man or a Kiwi for mine.

    Cheers Everyone

I think we all can apply enough common sense to agree upon why Tszyu and Darchinyan would be counted among the Aussie greats while Fitzsimmons wouldn't (nor Bugner, not that he'd come even close to being in the conversation for as high as top 5 anyway)

Sands and Carruthers were brightly-but-briefly-burning flames. They may well have been superior to some of the guys that must necessarily be rated above them, but traditionally we value longevity, or at the very least if you're only around for a short time a jam-packed resume in terms of quality of competition. Put simply neither had a chance to do enough to be up quite near the very top. (yes I know Sands had a ton of fights, and he beat a number of very good fighters, but his tragically premature passing meant he never got to claim worlds honors, peaking at the Commonwealth title which is no small feat but probably not enough to be in the conversation for domestic GOAT. Carruthers meanwhile for a time was an incredibly destructive force, but it was so brief...)

Mundine Sr. and Jr. both fall well short of the apex, maybe flirting with dozenth in the latter case, a few spots back for his dad, as is Geale.

#1 is either Tszyu or Fenech, end of story. No two ways around it. Nipping at their heels, Famechon and Rose (and then maybe Darcy & Darchinyan jostling for position behind them).

Well, that's a very Classic Forum answer, I'll say that. :sisi1

Generally speaking I think most of the boxing world, if you went around to every corner of the community and conducted a straw poll, is going to say Fenech or Tszyu. Much as generally speaking you're going to find SRR as the most frequently cited all-time global p4p #1. (except within insular hipster enclaves where his name is dropped in much lower proportion, downplayed in favor of edgier choices like, say, Greb, or Wilde, or Ezzard Charles or even Burley)

I don't actually think I'm qualified to give a definitive answer.

Any list without Jeffrey 'The Hornet' Horn is pointless.

Honestly if people are shouting out Geale then why not.
