Yeah I’m still waiting for you to mention the names of these big punchers?

To be fair, I never said any of them were big punchers, and I'm not sure to whom Scissors is referring asking for proof of a "mythical chin" (as Kiwi actually hadn't made any posts in between that & Scissors' previous one...so if that was directed at me, let's be clear: I am not claiming that we have evidence of Parker having anything more than a good chin. Serviceable. Above-average. Enough to not get lain out cold by the first Joshua uppercut that grazes him, capisce?)

I did however say that he danced for an investigatively significant minimum # of rounds with enough moderate punchers to support the idea that he isn't fragile enough to guarantee a KO for Joshua, perfect 20 for 20 or no. Klitschko and Takam both probably have proven worse chins than Parker and both got very close to making the distance with Joshua, succumbing more due to fatigue than anything.

It’s at Kiwi. Everyday he’s posting up something different about why Parker will best Joshua, one of them being his chin.

No - it is his SPEED that I emphasize.

Speed, movement, power. Joshua has no answer for this combination of strengths.

If I am wrong, I will happily come on here and eat humble pie.

My biggest worry is that Joshua will hit Parker with a huge uppercut as he launches himself inside....

Parker isn't some blazing fast heavyweight the likes of which the world has never seen. He isn't even necessarily the fastest-handed guy in the division since Chambers, let alone since Byrd, let alone since Tillis, let alone since Ali. He didn't have the quickest hands in the ring against Ruiz.

He is pretty quick though, ESPECIALLY when compared with Joshua. Now don't get it twisted, Joshua can explode with fast-twitch power and speed in short and sudden bursts. Punch by punch though, he is pretty slow for a champ (not Shannon Briggs slow, but at best average historically speaking) and he gets progressively slower the deeper into fights he goes. Watch rounds 9 & 10 with Klitschko - like he's punching through molasses. Now compare with Parker in those same rounds vs. Ruiz - no, he isn't a blur imperceptible to a naked human eye...but he is empirically much faster than Joshua, viewed side by side. His baseline handspeed is greater and its rate of depreciation as stamina erodes is lower than Joshua's.

So yes, citing the speed of Parker (not his chin) is a quite valid element of this debate.

Let me add one more thing for Parker - SIZE

For a true 6'4" giant of a guy, his speed and movement actually are VERY RARE

Most fast heavyweights are nowhere near as tall

It is this combination - Speed, movement, power and SIZE that will make Joshua struggle.

Joshua is taller - yes - but people who think AJ will be the "bully" in this fight are wrong.

I believe it will be Parker who dominates. The 31st will tell all....

I picked AJ by points, not sure he KO's Parker, but gets the edge being in home soil.

AJ will win via Mid rounds stoppage

Too big and too strong for Parker

    The power is real!

What power? Parker and Whyte have shared the ring with 3 common opponents and Whyte put them all away faster.... Whyte > Parker in power.

It is the COMBINATION of speed, movement, power and size.

You will see what Parker can do on the 31st

I've seen what Parker can do already. AJ by late stoppage or wide UD.

    Joshua late stoppage.

I think both will be tentative early, not wanting to make a mistake. Parker has some success early with his speed but is getting caught by counters after he unloads and is getting out boxed.

Joshua gradually starts to force Parker back more and more and Parker is unable to stand toe to toe with Joshua and is forced to be overly defensive. If Parker goes into survival mode he can go the distance but if he tries to go out on his shield, which I think he does he gets ground down and stopped late.

    Joshua - early and easy.

Parker doesn't impress at all. He's a target.
