The first - well I had this pretty clear for Norton and I also don't buy into the jaw broken in the 2nd round fairy tale it happened in the 12th.

Second - Was a lot closer but still Nortons aggression saw him through.

Third - Well neither looked great but again Norton and this time really clear.

Ali as great as he was never beat Norton and wasn't as pretty either .

    Peace.

You know I haven’t seen the second fight in forever I always just assume a more in shape Ali won. But I see more and more people today also giving this fight to Norton. I may have to rewatch it.
Norton won the first fight and I thought he won the 3rd but only by a round so I don’t consider it a huge robbery.

I and III were clearly Norton for me... the second one could go either way, but maybe Ali

I gave the second to Ali, if I remember Ali pulled it out in the last round, but it still was a very close fight.

Agree. The last round saved that one for Ali IMO.
I thought Norton won the Yankee Stadium 76'er. And so did Ali, look at him after the final bell.

I remain convinced that Norton won bout number 3. Twice between Zaire and Leon Spinks Ali deserved to lose his title.

I also had norton winning all 3, he was made to fight ali, I think they gave ali the decision twice because it would have murdered his legacy

It couldn't possibly because they thought he deserved the verdict could it?

Not in those days, when Ali was thought to be a God, or at least a demi-god. The only way to beat him was to break his jaw, like Norton did, or knock him the f out, which nobody did.

So the majority (and yes the majority of people think Ali won the 2nd one rightfully) are all mistaken?
