Saunders vs. Murray moved to 23rd June

Loads of fans are going to lose out on travel and accommodation expenses because he’s moving the show now.

As I said he did the exact same thing last year. The world and his dog knew that AJ was being mooted for the same day as Smith-Williams II yet Frank jumped the gun, announced his show first (in Newcastle so Welsh and Liverpool fans would have to travel) and then postponed the show when the inevitable AJ date was announced.

For someone who constantly harps on about “conning the fans” he is an awful promoter for the fans.

 

so the show should go on without the main event.....mmmmmmmmmm no mate that's not how a business works. plus most of the crowd would be bjs fans hardly far to travel

 

Gotta be the Golovkin fight or possibly even a Tyson Fury comeback on that card , Saunders vs Murray will never sell out the o2 even with Anthony Yarde against eastern european non puncher fighting on 3 weeks notice supporting.

 

How many rescheduled or cancelled shows does frank get Jesus!

Absolutely disgusting and that is why very few buy tickets to his shows nowadays.

Once stung give him the benefit of the doubt, the 2nd time alarm bells ring and after the 3rd time people simply do not come back for a 4th shafting.

That is why even the Copper Box never sells out for a fish show.

 

That and the fact his cards are usually complete trash with unlikeable boxers. I'm sure the only tickets he sells are friends and family of the boxers and complimentaries.

 

I’m half hungover here but am I right in thinking this means frank has only put one show on in 2018 up until April 14th? One show in the first 4 months of the year. Really frank? And even that got cancelled and rescheduled to York Hall.

We were supposed to get boxing every other wk when they announced the deal. by may 19 we will of had, what? 3 shows? Nearly half a yr in. Why cant he run the show with flanaghan v hooker headling. Thats what id be wanting to know if i was head of bt boxing.

 

He does more harm to himself than anyone else does. People on here believed he was catching up to Hearn before the new year (I personally never). Now once again he’s clearly miles behind and it’s through nobodies fault but his own.

 

Think Frank needs to get his house in order and sharpish. Matchroom and sky are miles ahead, its that simple. I know the BT partnership is relatively new but he's had BN going for a while now so there are no excuses. Compare the profile of his fighters compared to the matchroom stable, it's ridiculous really. Saunders is basically carrying Franks outfit, so it's a good job he knuckled down with Ingle after the mess he was in after beating Lee for the title.
I know ITV have been bashed because of the PPV and their technical issues but in my opinion there boxing coverage has been far better than BT / BN, the WBSS has been very enjoyable IMO, especially the cruiserweights. Frank would have done well to get that on BT.
Say what you like about Hearn but the shows nearly always go ahead and he knows how to build a fighters profile.

 

He’s pulled a card because a fight we already know the result of has been postponed!

This card could’ve still been headlined by a world title fight! I’m sure that was the plan anyway! Weren’t Saunders added later?

Terry Flanagan mustn’t be happy with the complete and utter lack of faith in him.
