Hearns would have to be very careful early. If Tommy wanted to win by 12 rd decision, or late TKO, might be the best strategy.

Sure Julian has a puncher's chance, but I don't think Tommy needs to play it safe all fight. He KO's JJ in 8. Tommy finds his jab pretty easy in this one and lands his right, he's just the better boxer here ... People might just say Tommy has the suspect chin but if you go down that road so does JJ, all his 6 losses were by KO

in this fight, Julian was not a wild guy, which wild fighters hit Hearns more but Julian's style would not really land that easily on Tommy.I think Hearns stops him on TKO with Tommy being more cautious.. He cannot be reckless with Julian, but Tommy would win by TKO with his jab.. In a not so exciting fight.

If Jackson just touches the GLASS CHIN of hearns he is going down for tHE 50 count. Jackson DID HIT HARDER THAN HEARNS EVER COULD DREAM. GLASS CHIN VS PFP HARDEST PUNCHER OF ALL TIME = bad combination

Couldnt ask for a more exciting match up than this one, I think we can automatically assume this one isn't going the distance! In fact, I'd be shocked if it even went 6 rounds. Hearns may be the more savvy, well polished boxer, so it's understandable to see him favoured, but honestly that'll probably go out the window as soon as one of these guys lands a significant clean punch

I think Hearns would land first - he was the straighter puncher. Hearns by early round tko

Thomas Hearns feared no one. Hearns would come out all guns blazing and like Mike McCallum would stop Julian Jackson in two rounds.

I got Hearns he is more accurate and hits harder than McCallum.....JJ was no joke but he missed alot and IMO Hearns is faster and can use his reach well to set up the right

Bingo. Big class edge to Hearns at his greatest weight.

Hearns could ever dream of? What a ridiculous statement.
There's not much in it for power, but Hearns has all the other advantages in talent and physically, plus there's hardly anything between the chins.
Of course Hearns would need to be careful, but he knocks Jackson out and it could be at any time.

Tommy, with his atg jab, utilizes just that and jabs Julian's head right off his shoulders. Tommy by 5th round ko. Of course, if Julian lands, it's lights out for Tommy, but I don't think Tommy's piston like jab would allow that. Plus the fact that JJ is not known for his iron chin either, I believe this is a bad night for Julian.

it is up to Tommy. I think Hearns would know he is in with a big puncher and not take risks. He was at this best when he respected the other fighter. The worst was when he was reckless, and also this fight would be before Hagler, when he was a little more skilled.. he lost something after Hagler. He started to get in more brawls and guys who shouldn't have been able to fight with him could.
