Did they never return as planned, in 2015, after Frank's completion of the gender reassignment to become Kellie? Reportedly both Gary Cornish (still then unbeaten) and light welterweight prospect Tony "Blaze" Jones had signed with the stable early in the year and were supposed to co-headline a match in June. Having checked, though, none of their matches in 2015 or since have the Maloney name on them; all different promoters. Have to wonder, did Kellie face discrimination and stonewalling from within the boys' club of the UK boxing scene? It may well be possible that she just bottled it (as Frank, her previous "retirement" in 2013 had been like her dozenth one, after all, always very capricious) daunted at the idea of starting from scratch, or perhaps with more selflessly magnanimous a motive wanting Cornish & Jones to have a better chance at success by seeking other representation - but one does have to wonder. Shame if there was in fact an earnest attempt to reenter the game, stymied by small-minded fear & hatred. Of course, it would have been a STEEP uphill climb to reach the heights that Frank Maloney had over the previous three decades. There only ever seems to be room at one given time for 2 superpowers in UK boxing - and while Maloney had once been a part of that major duality, time had passed her by and by 2015 it was very clearly established that Frank W. and newcomer Fast Car Eddie were the only dogs left in the hunt, as far as big-time promoters from Britain with international clout.
Yeah how come your thread got deleted? Haye's just sorting out the wedding ring, he's planning to have the wedding before the rematch with Tony
I assume various powerful people want to keep it quiet for the time being, that's why the thread got deleted.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6555888/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast Kellie Maloney is listed has an associate producer for "Game of Two Halves" a movie in pre-production at present.
LGBTIQCAPGNGFNBA and Boxing mix like oil and water. Boxing is a mans sport and male space end of story. Frank Maloney went crazy and started wearing a dress and calling himself Kellie, he ceased to be sane or of interest to boxing after that.
Because he is a lunatic with many psychological issues, nobody likes to do business with a weirdo like him...
Lol I wouldn’t be shocked if she was discriminated against (I mean hell look at the responses you got to this thread) but I also read that her initial surgeries had complications and she may have just stepped away for a while to fully recover and get a proper bearing on her life.
She was allegedly set to begin promoting events (on a much less grand scale then she used to in her prime as half of the double-headed monster, The Franks) three years ago. Had already signed Cornish & Jones and everything. Then...radio silence. No explanation as to why no cards were pulled together. You're right though, could've just been the blowback of her personal life being in disarray catching up, making it too much a hassle to jump back in the deep end of professional life.
